SPAN 150 ASYNC WEB - Hispanic and Latinx Cultures (taught in English) (online)

Introduction to cultures of the Spanish-speaking world, including Spain, Latin America, and the US.

In this course we will study literature, art, and film as a vehicle for studying the history and cultures of Spain and Latin America (including the Latino US). Spanish faculty from the Department of Romance Languages will share their expertise on a variety of topics. Students complete readings, watch videos, and complete assignments meant to explore their understanding of how culture works in different times and places throughout the Spanish-speaking world. This course is taught in English.
